Gen X Shred
Transform your body by focusing on the WHY, not just the HOW.

About / Philosophy
At Gen X Shred, we
recognize that the psychology of changing and the WHY you want to make the change is more
important to successfully completing your goal than the details of HOW you’ll make the change.
We differ from other fitness programs in that we use motivational interviewing
techniques to inspire you to overcome ambivalence and implement healthy habit changes.

Why All Other Programs Have Failed You and How We Are Different
Every other program focuses on HOW to make the change, but fails to address the underlying reasons for the change, the WHY.
Although you're more aware of the reasons you want to change, you still may not be 100 percent committed. As you probably realize, awareness isn't enough to carry out a successful change plan.
Motivation to make change requires a few elements:
Problem Recognition (Awareness) +
Importance (Priority) +
Confidence and Hope
This is why we are different and where we excel
Rewiring Your Mind for Lasting Transformation
Through evidence-based motivational interviewing, strategic habit formation, and cutting-edge technology, we help you overcome internal resistance and create sustainable behavioral change

Our Five Fundamental Principles
The HOW is generic—there are multiple ways to lose body fat or gain muscle. The secret sauce is finding your internal motivations and codifying habits until they’re second nature.
Coaching & Support
Each client is assigned a health professional trained in motivational interviewing for daily check-ins, habit-building exercises, and ongoing motivation work.
Our Two-Phase Process

Phase 1: Motivational Interviewing

Strengthen your desires, abilities, reasons, and needs for change—resolving ambivalence before planning action.

Phase 2: Habit Formation

Rewrite your cue–routine–reward loops around our four core areas so healthy habits become second nature.

Ready to focus on your WHY and become the person you’ve always wanted to be?
